Hiatus + My New Room!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to pop in and say that I know I haven't posted anything for a while, and for that, I apologize. I won't be posting anything for a bit. I'm not sure how long though because we are in the process of moving and I don't really have the time to update and post looks, hauls, etc. I'm also trying to get as much school finished as I can so that we can make the move quicker. So I'm probably going to be going on hiatus for maybe a month? I'm not sure...

Last week my family and I went up to the new house to paint rooms! My sister and I painted mine:

I really wanted to paint the doors and trim white, but I didn't have time and I didn't feel like it. LOL

Painting takes a LOT of work and I'm sure those of you that have painted an entire room before, know what I mean ;)

I'm so in love with the colors that I chose! For the past 7 months I kept changing my mind! First,    I wanted purple, then I wanted a dark teal, and so on. I love my final choice lol

On the greenish wall in the last photo, you can see that I mixed a little blue in there also.

I can't wait to decorate! I just need to buy furniture and everything ha

Classy, Everyday Look!

Hi everyone! I apologize for not posting anything for a while. All last week I was sick with the flu.

So, today's eye look is a simple, classy everyday look. It has some shimmer to it, but it's just the right amount that it's not over-the-top.

PS: I do know that I did not post my February favorites. It's just that I didn't have much. I'm going to combine my favorites for Feb & March at the end of this month :)

I primed my eyes using Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

I went into my Wet n Wild 'Vanity' palette and mixed the matte light brown and matte dark brown together, and used that in the crease. It doesn't look very noticeable in the pictures, but you definitely can tell my crease is more defined in person.

I used NYX's Ultra Pearl Mania in 'Nude' and patted that all over the lid only.

For highlight on the brow bone, I used the matte cream color in the 'Vanity' palette and in the inner corner, I used the 1st shimmery color.

I went back into the Vanity palette and did the same thing I did to my crease, to my lower lash line.

For liner on the top lash line, I used NYC's black liquid liner.

For liner on the water line, I used NYX's white eyeliner.

Walmart and Walgreens Haul!

Hey guys! 

A few days ago, I went to walmart and walgreens. I was going to post this sooner, but I've been really sick, along with my sister and mom.

I got a few things from Walgreens and the rest is from Walmart!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on these bad boys! These are the new Hard Candy 'Fox in a Box' blushers. The packaging is adorable!

This one is called 'Skinny Dipping.' It has a bronzer side and a peachy/coral/orange side.

This one is called 'Hot Flash.' It has 4 different colors: paleish color, bronzey color, medium pink, and a hot pink shade. This one is really pretty when all of the colors are mixed together!

They have 2 (either 2 or 3, I forget) other ones that I wasn't going to purchase, but I think I have to!!

Maybelline New York 'Eye Studio' Gel eyeliner. I wasn't going to get it because the color is in 'Charcoal.' But when I looked at the color on the packing it came in, it looked black, so that's why I did end up buying it. I wish I didn't though. Do they even have black one?? Because I didn't see it at all.

I think this is my new favorite eyeliner! It's NYC's black liquid eyeliner. I was looking for a good liquid liner that doesn't dry shiny (L'Oreal Lineur Intense =\) I really like it!

'Royally Yours' Eye Look!

Hi everyone! 

Today's eye look is going to be a royal blue, silver, and gold look. It's really pretty! 

I was fooling around with some of my new e.l.f  mineral eyeshadows and this is what I came up with:

I used e.l.f's mineral eyeshadow primer to prime my eyes.

I got some tape and placed it from the end of my eye, up to wear my eyebrow ends so that I'd have a clean line.

I went into my Wet n Wild 'Vanity' palette, and took the 1st light shimmery color and used that in the inner corner and around the tear duct.

I used e.l.f's mineral eyeshadow in 'Beachy' and patted that all over the lid.

I went back into the 'Vanity' palette and used the 2nd shimmery gold color and used that to blend out in the crease.

For the lower lash line, I used e.l.f's mineral eyeshadow in 'Smoldering.'

I went into the 'Vanity' palette, again, and used the 1st matte nude color as a highlight on my browbone.

For the eyeliner, I used L'Oreal's Lineur Intense.

On the waterline, I used Rimmel's Soft Kohl liner in 'Jet Black'

For mascara, I used L'Oreal's Voluminous Carbon Black.

Target & Walgreens Haul!!

Yesterday I went to Target and Walgreens.

I've finally found the 8 pan palettes!!! 

This first one is called 'Comfort Zone' and consists of neutral and olive tones. I definitely see myself using these a lot!!

The next one is called 'Petal Pusher' and consists of beautiful purple shades!

REVIEW: E.L.F Cool Bronzer

When I posted my e.l.f haul a few weeks ago, I asked you guys to leave a comment telling me which products you would like me to review. This e.l.f 'Cool Bronzer' was the most popular! As I said before, I have the 'Golden Bronzer' and I LOVE it. It's great for highlighting (it's shimmery). I thought the rest were shimmery as well, then I found out the Cool Bronzer was matte and wanted to try it out.

It has a white (highlight), two darker shade (contour), and a pinky blush shade.

You can hardly see the bottom two colors on my hand =\

I have a love/hate relationship with this one.

 I like the pigmentation the two contouring powders give when you contour. You can either go somewhat sheer, or build the color up. 

I don't like the blush color or the white much. For the cheeks, I'm not a fan of matte highlights, but I can see myself using it for the brow bone. For the blush, I don't really care for it at all. Maybe because of my skin tone. It doesn't show up much. :(

For $3, it's definitely worth checking out.

REQUEST: How I Do My Eyebrows!

Hey everyone!!

Yes, I am alive LOL

I apologize for not posting for so long, I didn't have my camera, but now I do!

Alrighty, so I've gotten many emails, comments, etc, asking if I could do a post on how I do my eyebrows right now.

I've used eyebrow kits, pencils, eyeshadow, everything for my eyebrows. This is what I do right now and have been doing for quite a while when I go out. You don't have to do exactly as I do, this is just how I do mine and what I find best works for me.

My eyebrows with nothing done to them:

I shaped my brow how I wanted it with e.l.f's eyebrow/lash mascara:

When I use a powder (eyeshadow) for my eyebrows, I like to use a square-tipped brush instead of the regular angled brush. I use the e.l.f eyeliner brush, $1. 

I've been using the black eyeshadow color in this e.l.f 32pc palette for quite some time. It's not the most pigmented black out there, and that is why I like using this. If I want to go bolder, I use a dark brown, more specifically the dark brown in the NYX 'Champagne & Cavier' palette.

Now, I only use a tiny bit of the black. I like the way it has a light gray-ish shadow, that way my eyebrows look defined and still natural looking. (It looks that way in person)

This is what they look afterwards. I also take a concealer brush and concealer (I use the e.l.f cover stick in Light Beige) and 'clean' the outer edges.

So there ya go! Natural looking eyebrows that are well-defined!

E.L.F HAUL! *PIC HEAVY!*

Friday my E.L.F package came! The last time I ordered from them was Oct/Nov, I believe. They've come out with many new things since then!

The first thing I got was the 'ELF Essentials Color 101 - Duo Smokey Eye Kit'

It came with 4 really pretty eyeshadow duos and an eyeshadow brush. I saw this on one of xsparkage's videos and I had to get it!

It comes with a golden/pink duo, blue duo, purple/black duo, and gray duo.

I ordered 3 nail polishes. The one that I REALLY wanted came broken :( and that was 'Mint Cream'

The first one is 'Metal Madness' and 2nd is 'Fire Coral'

ELF Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in 'Sun Kissed'

Very pretty!

I was really excited to try this conditioning lip balm!

This one is in Mellow Melon.

It looks coral-y but it's just a really pretty pink.

Cream Eyeliner in 'Ivory'

I thought it was going to be a matte white so that I could use it on my waterline, but it's a sheer shimmery off-white. I used it as a highlight on my cheekbones yesterday. Really pretty!

I ordered the black one, but it wasn't in my package! :(

This is their new matte lip colors. I was really excited to try it!

I got the one in 'Natural' and it's really pretty! It's a neutral rosey/browny/pink.

Definitely going to be buying the rest next time!

I bought two more of the tone correcting concealers in 'Light Beige' ;P

I wanted to try out their mineral eyeshadow primer. I use the $1 primer ALL THE TIME and I really like it. 

I got two more of the shimmer eyeliner pencils in Boldly Bronzed and Black Bandit.

Two more of the lash/brow mascaras. I LOVE these!!

I wanted to try out the $1 eyeliner pen. I got mine in black, and I don't really like it at all =\

I have one the studio blushes in Peachy Keen and I really love it. I got another one in Pink Passion. It's gorgeous! This one is a matte.

I have the studio 'Golden Bronzer' and I love it! They also have a warm bronzer. I thought the other 2 were shimmery as well. I found out that the Cool Bronzer is matte, so I decided to try it out!

OKAY. This is what I was really excited for!! I have two of the mineral eyeshadows that I got sometime last summer, and I love them! I don't know why I didn't buy any more. Anyway, they have a 4 (I think it's 4) new colors! I couldn't wait to get them 

and they are GORGEOUS!!

I've known that they had a 'Bath & Body' section, but I always forgot about it lol

I decided to try them out.

This body butter is in 'Candied Strawberry'

I was hoping for a real bold strawberry scent, but it's nothing special and the smell is kinda faint.

This one is in 'Vanilla Coconut'

I LOVE the smell of this!!!

I figured that I would like the smell of the body butter so I got the hand cream as well :D

Other things I bought that aren't pictured above are:
